Let the Government show their commitment by drafting the most stringent water tight Anti-corruption Bill in the history of the world and prove their words…

The LokPal bill once passed, should set a total change of public services delivery from the date of enactment…. It shouldn’t be a non actionable Act once passed… but adequate budgetary allocation should also be made along with the passage of the act for the full / active / effective enforcement !!! We don’t care if the LOKPAL body is the highest paid body in India, you adjust the financial resources even by reducing a little defence budget also, we are not bothered, but we want to see effective enforcement!!!

Both LOKPAL(in center) and LOKAYUKTHA (in states) should be made independent bodies like the Judiciary and Election Commission, with powers to initiate suo motto case against any officer including PM or CJI or Chief of Army, Prosecution and Penalization Powers, and act should provision for recovery every penny for which source of income cannot be proved by convicts (if possible projected loss to national growth also should be recovered) and attached into government treasury, penalise the guilty by imprisonment.. and during the entire period of trial, the accused should be behind bars(Non-Bailable), so that the person cannot influence investigation or trial. Investigation should necessarily complete in a max of 1 year from the date of registration of the case, and Trial needs to be completed in the next 1 year max. To achieve this, all resources required (Human resource, Technical Resource and other infrastructural resources) needs to be provided and adequately funded…

For Minor offenders, punishments could be Community service (like – cleaning public toilets in cities or government hospitals, cleaning drains, garbage collection, laundry in government hospitals, nursing jobs in Beggars colony etc) for durations varying from 1 month to 5 years with special uniforms identifying them as convicts, with proper scrutiny!
